Musaj Olive Oil's storage, preparation and export activities are audited by bio.inspecta AG, a Swiss certification body, to the bi-OS EU Equivalent Standard — compliant with EU Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 and its implementing Regulation (EC) No 1235/2008 on imports of organic products from third countries.
Chemical analysis performed according to methods published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry and submitted to EFET, at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Pharmacy. The daily consumption of 20 g of this oil provides 19.44 mg of hydroxytyrosol, tyrosol and their derivatives — well above the 5 mg threshold in EU Regulation 432/2012 for the blood-lipid protection health claim.
